FIST1000 — Principles of Emergency Services
3.0 Credits This course provides an overview to fire protection and emergency services. Students learn the structures within a fire department as well as the roles and responsibilities of the firefighters. Students are introduced to laws, regulations, chemistry, fire protection systems, and strategies and tactics of firefighting. This course is written to the National Fire Academy (NFA) FESHE curriculum.
