ESLX0731 — Reading and Vocabulary 1
4.5 Credits In this course, students read a variety of texts to begin developing the foundational reading skills necessary for success at the college level. Students learn to paraphrase ideas and summarize short texts. Students also expand their academic vocabulary and knowledge of prefixes and suffixes through learning to use a monolingual English dictionary. 5
