ENGL2510 — American Literature I
4.5 Credits The America we know today came into existence during the tumultuous years of 1600-1865. The literature written during that period brings to life the social, cultural, artistic, religious, and political climate of the time. By critically reading, discussing, and responding in writing to a variety of early American texts, students explore themes such as origins, community, freedom, and identity. 5
