ENGL1311 — Poetry Writing Studio
4.5 Credits Students explore the elements and styles of poetry, practicing form, musicality, imagery, and metaphor. Students read and write lyric and narrative poems in both traditional forms and free verse. In addition to writing their own poems, students critically read, discuss, and respond to published poetry and the poems of other students. 5
