12.0 Credits This course is part 4 in a sequence of 4 courses in the paramedic program that must be completed consecutively. Students gain advanced knowledge of bleeding/shock, trauma systems, soft tissue trauma, burns, face/head/neck/spine/chest, ABD/GU/GI trauma, orthopedic trauma. Students also review extrication, hazardous and weapons of mass destruction, mass casualty incidence and crime scene awareness, ambulance and rescue operations. In conjunction with this course, the paramedic students will also be required to successfully complete the CAPSTONE field The student must have all skills completed on the digital platform/skills tracker and approved by clinical-field coordinator and program director to begin CAPSTONE-Team Leads. 0
