10.0 Credits This course introduces the knowledge, skills, and professional responsibilities of the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Students will study EMS systems, legal and ethical issues, patient assessment, airway management, shock, and common medical emergencies, with an emphasis on identification, communication, safety, and wellness.
