ECED1240 — Preschool-Age Practicum

3.0 Credits Students work with preschool-age children on a weekly basis and become familiar with the daily routine of programs serving these ages. Basic skills include developmentally appropriate interactions, supporting caregiver plans, and fostering development. Students spend 45 hours with the preschool-age children and plan a few experiences appropriate for this age group. Note: Students are required to attend bi-monthly one-hour seminar sessions with the assigned instructor. Students enrolling in the ECED practica should follow the procedures on the Early Childhood Practicum website at www.mccneb.edu/ecp .
