ECED1230 — School-Age Child Development and Programming

4.5 Credits This course focuses on typical and atypical development of the child ages 5 through 12 years. This course will examine program design in out of school care that addresses the domains of physical growth and motor skills, cognition and language, and social/emotional development. Note: Students are required to complete the Child Care Fingerprint Criminal History Check and the Child/Abuse and Neglect Registry Check through the appropriate Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to complete required field experiences.
