4.5 Credits This course is an overview of early childhood education, history, and trends. It examines the philosophies of various programs, diversity, inclusion, licensing standards, current legislation,professionalism, and advocacy. Note: Students are required to complete the Child Care Fingerprint Criminal History Check and the Child/Abuse and Neglect Registry Check through the appropriate Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to complete required field experiences.
