4.5 Credits This course introduces a variety of observation, assessment, and guidance strategies used in early childhood education settings for birth through age eight. Note: Students are required to complete the Child Care Fingerprint Criminal History Check and the Child/Abuse and Neglect Registry Check through the appropriate Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to complete required field experiences. Recommended: ENGL 1010 or ENGL 1220 or ENGL 1230 . For students planning to transfer, ENGL 1010 is the better choice.
