7.5 Credits This is a general biology series is taught in a two-course sequence: BIOS 1450 Biology I and BIOS 1750 Biology II. In this second course, Biology II, students will focus on the organism and its interaction with the environment by learning the principles of diversity and classification of organisms, evolution and natural selection, plant and animal physiological systems, population and community ecology, and energy flow within an ecosystem. Both courses must be successfully completed to transfer as a two-semester general biology course. This course includes both lecture and lab components. 0
