ARTS2230 — Native American Art
4.5 Credits Students examine the material culture of various indigenous peoples of North America. Special attention is given to Northern Plains Indians. Students identify and analyze art created in North America from 1700 to the present day. Students examine art as visual communication and discuss works of art in social and historical contexts.
