ARCH2848 — Structural Studio
4.5 Credits Students are immersed in structural modeling workflows using BIM software and other industry-standard digital tools in a collaborative setting. Through industry-inspired modules, students build a baseline BIM model, develop steel connection and reinforcement details, and perform clash detection. Learning from realistic engineering redlines, students create coordinated structural drawings while examining interdisciplinary teamwork, building regulations, change management, emerging technology, and high-performance design impacts. 5
