ARCH1200 — Wood-Frame Architecture
9 Credits Students learn about the process for designing, documenting and constructing wood frame buildings through reading, lectures, on-site observation and a project. Students explore the properties of building materials, the application of construction methods, and the terminology used by architects, home designers, technicians, and builders. Students generate a cartoon set of construction documents for the schematic design of a single-family house. Prerequisites: ARCH 1115 and ARCH 1160 Recommended: ARCH 1000
