CHDEV 53 — The Child, the Family and the Community

Processes of socialization focusing on the interrelationship of family, school, and community, including historical and cultural factors. Influence of multiple societal contexts on the developing child are emphasized. The role of collaboration between family, community, and schools in supporting children’s development from birth through adolescence is also explored.
