RGT 2132 - Ethical and Legal Responsibilities RGT 2132 - Ethical and Legal Responsibilities 2 Credits Legal terminology, concepts, and principles are presented in this course. Topics include misconduct, malpractice, legal and professional standards, and the ASRT scope of practice. The importance of proper documentation and informed consent is emphasized. This course prepares students to better understand their patient, the patient’s family, and professional peers through comparison of diverse populations based on their value systems, cultural and ethnic influences, communications styles, socioeconomic influences, health risks, and life stages.
