HPR 2222 - Lifeguarding and Water Safety HPR 2222 - Lifeguarding and Water Safety 2 Credits This is the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course with emphasis toward certifying life guards for swimming areas. This course is designed to teach life skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. Also, he/she must be able to swim 20 yards, retrieve a brick off the pool bottom, and return 20 yards with the brick. Swimsuit and fee required.
