HMSV21 — Human Behavior & Helping Proce
<b><font color="7A0018">Begins Fall 2025</b></font><br> This course examines the history and philosophies of human services; identifies what constitutes genuine and empathic relationships; analyzes the role of conflict in individual and societal systems; demonstrates a broad range of relevant communication skills and strategies, and assists students in designing integrated services using innovative practices in diverse settings. The course includes components on personality development; social and political influences that shape interactive behavior, and guidelines for identifying normal and exceptional behavior, as well as, practical ways of helping people who have problems in living.
