MUS 167 - Beginning Appalachian Dulcimer MUS 167 - Beginning Appalachian Dulcimer 3 Credits An introductory level course on the history of the Appalachian dulcimer, regional musicians, influences, and performance with emphasis on the old time, style found in the central Appalachian region. Classroom instruction will include lecture, demonstrations, assignments, reports, and quizzes. Student practice will be required outside of classroom hours.
