EGR 140 - Engineering Mechanics Statics EGR 140 - Engineering Mechanics Statics 3 Credits Introduces mechanics of vector forces and space, scalar mass and time, including S.I. and U.S. customary units. Teaches equilibrium, free-body diagrams, moments, couples, distributed forces, centroids, moments of inertia analysis of two- force and multi-force members and friction and internal forces. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
