POT2014 — European Political Theory 1
This course covers the more important trends in European political thought from Plato to the present. It examines those ideas which have contributed to the shaping of the political cultures of Western and Eastern Europe. It discusses the historical evolution of key concepts of politics such as freedom, order, political obligations, justice, consent, rights and duties, power and authority.
