PAS4191L — Internal Medicine
The clinical course focuses on basic medical practice. The student is exposed to common medical problems encountered on in-patient and out-patient medical services. Emphasis is placed on the history and physical examination and the process required in the proper work-up and management of the patient. Patient care experience in the various subdivisions of internal medicine including oncology, hematology, neurology, nephrology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, pulmonology, cardiology, and infectious diseases may be required.
Prerequisites: PAS 3019, 3042C, 3070, 3140, 3203C
