HIM2500L — Data Management & Quality Assessment Laboratory
The application of the basic principles of quality assessment: quality improvement and utilization review. The student will learn to generate models for the evaluation of different types of medical care. Activities will center on the accreditation process, managed care, and risk management. The methodologies and relationships of these key areas within a health care facility are emphasized.
