FOT2823 — Consecutive Interpretation
This course builds on the founda -tion established in Introduction to Interpretation (FOT2810) and acquaints the students with the practice and application of consecutive interpretation (English/ Spanish). Development of active listen -ing, concentration and retention skills as well as the ability to perceive essential meaning for subsequent recall is empha -sized. This course also explores basic note taking techniques and provides practice in monolateral and bilateral consecutive interpretation.
