MTH 113 — Trigonometry for Calculus

3 credits · 3 hours

course includes the study of trigonometric (circular functions) and inverse trigonometric functions, and inc ludes extensive work with trigonometric identities and trigonometric equations. The course also covers vectors, complex numbers, DeMoivre’s Theorem, and polar coordinates. Additional topics may include conic sections, sequences, and using matrices to solve linear systems. Prerequisite: MTH 112 with a grade of C or higher ; or appropriate mathematics placement score and Student must have completed Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II in high school.
