School of Nursing Part-Time Program Policies
The School of Nursing part-time curriculum is designed for individuals who have obligations that impact their ability to attend the rigorous full-time academic schedule of full-time coursework. Students attend class, lab and clinical practicum but take two courses each semester, instead of the four courses taken each semester by the full-time students. Part-time is defined as taking less than three nursing courses in a semester. Full-time students take four nursing courses each semester and complete the program in four semesters. Part-time students may take up to eight semesters to complete the program coursework.
