Automotive Technology

Degree

Macomb's ASE-certified Automotive Technology program trains students in modern service bays using the latest diagnostic and repair tools. Students gain hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all systems of modern vehicles. An optional GM Automotive Service Educational Program (GM ASEP) track combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training at a sponsoring GM-approved facility, leading to an Associate of Applied Science degree. Both the standard AAS and GM ASEP tracks are accredited by the ASE Education Foundation. Graduates are prepared for careers at repair facilities and dealerships.
