The Associate of General Studies (AGS) degree is designed for students planning to transfer to a bachelor's degree program, explore areas before declaring a major, or complete general education requirements affordably. Students must earn 60 credit hours, including at least one course in each of five foundational areas. An additional 15 credit hours allows earning a second degree. An individualized study plan developed with a counselor ensures credits transfer to four-year institutions.
