Plumbing and Pipe Fitting
Plumbing and Pipe Fitting is a general certificate program within Macomb's Applied Technology and Apprenticeship department. Students learn from working tradespeople and gain skills in fittings and valves, pressure gauges, pipe calculations, valve installation and maintenance, and drainage flow and venting. Completing the certificate can qualify graduates for employer-sponsored apprenticeships. Specializations in residential, commercial, or industrial plumbing are available, and the program supports those interested in starting their own service company.
