In this laboratory course students will identify, practice, and demonstrate physical examination and data collection skills as a framework for learning to provide and manage safe, competent care to culturally diverse adult patients. Students will utilize critical thinking and communication skills while employing evidence-based practice as it relates to assessment. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis. Students are required to pass this course to progress in the program. (1.5 billable contact hrs)
