LNUR-1266 — Intro Clinical Nursing Practic
(replaces but does not equate to LNUR-1265) This fundamental clinical course helps students develop skills in providing nursing care while implementing the nursing process. Students will develop problem-solving and communication skills, technology application, and professional responsibility while safely caring for adult patients. This clinical course will focus on documentation, medication administration in accordance with the LPN scope of practice, and health assessment of patients with a variety of medical/surgical diagnoses across various health care settings. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis. Students must pass this course to progress in the program. (3.75 billable contact hrs)
