This course continues the use of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) to prepare the student to code various body systems, disease processes and treatments in the outpatient settings at a more advanced level. Billing and insurance procedures as well as charge-master description and maintenance will be addressed. This course uses encoder and grouping software. (3 billable contact hrs)
