An integrated lecture-laboratory-field course that studies the geologic history of Planet Earth from its creation to the present time. The first part of the course focuses on the methods geologists use to investigate and unravel Earth's history; the second part of the course applies these methods to present the geologic history of the North American continent. One required field trip. (6 billable contact hrs)
