ELEC-1211 — Digital Electronics Basics
(formerly EETE-1210) This course will provide students with the knowledge required to understand and troubleshoot digital electronic circuits. Among the topics discussed are number systems, codes, logic gates, Boolean statements, combinational logic, flip-flops, counters, shift registers, memory and storage, and integrated circuit technologies. Knowledge will be gained through lecture, textbook assignments, hands-on laboratory experiments, and simulated virtual experiments utilizing virtual circuit software. (4 billable contact hrs)
