ECHS-1250 — Family, School, & Community
(formerly ECHS-1600) This course examines the interrelationships of family, school, and community in the life of the child and emphasizes the early educator's role in nurturing school-family partnerships to support the family's involvement in the child's education. Diverse family and community characteristics, societal issues, effective communication, relationship building and community resources are also explored. (3 billable contact hrs)
