NURS108 — Nursing Assistant Lab
3 credits This course will give students an opportunity to integrate Nursing Assistant theory into practice while in a lab environment. Students will practice and demonstrate an understanding of the skills necessary to provide safe care to the health care client. These skills include: infection control, vital sign measurement, safe transfer, ambulation and positioning and feeding patients. In addition the students will practice documenting, reporting and communication skills. Prerequisites: Instructor permission required Corequisites: NURS 107 and NURS 109 Course
