FSE102 — Occupational Safety Code and Federal Trade Commission
5 credits An overview and explanation of the OSHA (Occupational and Health Safety Administration) rules and standards with emphasis on bloodborne pathogens, ergonomics, required signage, and cleaning practices in a funeral home. Students will also study the requirements of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Funeral Rule. Prerequisites: ENGL 93 (or placement into ENGL 99 ) and MATH 87 or AHSE 66 (or placement into MATH 98 ) Corequisites: FSE 100 and FSE 104 Course
