ENVS351 — Principles of Sustainability
5 credits Introduces the influence of human activities on environmental processes. Topics include ecological concepts, population growth, natural resources, and current environmental problems from scientific, social, political, and economic perspectives. Students demonstrate an understanding of environmental interrelationships and contemporary global environmental issues as related to sustainable design practices. Includes laboratory. This course meets the Natural Science with lab general education distribution requirement. Prerequisites: Admission a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) program and any college-level lab science Course
