ECED465 — Collaborative Approaches to Promoting Health and Development

5 credits In this course, students will analyze features and approaches related to collaborative partnerships with families and communities that support young children’s optimal development. Students will also research the influences that impact development and implement strategies to promote children’s well-being including trauma-informed care, culturally responsive teaching, nutrition, mindfulness, and a focus on the inner needs and drives of children from a developmental perspective. Prerequisites: ECED 435 and ECED 445 Course
