CSD294 — Introduction to IoT
5 credits Students will learn how all the parts of an Internet of Things (IoT) solution functions. They will be exposed to common IoT devices and how to design and develop simple services using them. Students will learn the basics of connecting discrete components and add-on devices and how to use them to gather information, output functionality, and integrate them with external services and/or other devices. They will implement simple device management and communications services in the cloud. They will also utilize common protocols and services to communicate, store, and retrieve information via the IoT device. Prerequisites: CS& 141 Course
