NUR 3634C — Community and Public Health Nursing
This course provides students the opportunity to assist culturally diverse populations within a community to achieve an optimum level of wellness. Concepts of community and public health nursing focus on the community as a client, and nursing interventions utilized across the lifespan. Special emphasis is placed on advanced theoretical concepts, related to health promotion, risk reduction, disease prevention, and development processes.
