NURS 232 - Nursing of the Adult II NURS 232 - Nursing of the Adult II The processes in quality and safe nursing care of adults with complex health disorders are emphasized in both theory and clinical practice. Opportunities are provided for developing the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for competence and accountability in the delivery at the advanced level of medical/surgical nursing. The course presents nursing care disorders adult and geriatric body systems. Topics covered include assessment and nursing management of disorders of immunologic/hematologic; oncology; neurologic; musculoskeletal; endocrine; renal; liver & biliary, vascular, cardiac systems, critical care management and emergencies and disasters. Concurrent enrollment in NURS 231 will be a requirement of this course.
