Students will have the chance to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for proficiency and responsibility in providing healthcare at an advanced level in medical/surgical nursing. The focus of the course is on practical experience and promoting critical thinking skills base on the nursing process of caring for adult and geriatric patients. The main topics covered in NURS 232 lecture will be reinforced and expanded upon through lab and clinical experiences in different healthcare settings. Students are required to simultaneously enroll in NURS 233 as part of this course.
