NURS 133 - LPN to RN Transition Clinical NURS 133 - LPN to RN Transition Clinical This is an accelerated course specifically designed to facilitate successful entry of practical nurses into transitioning smoothly into Level III of the ASN program, by expanding the breadth and depth of their knowledge and nursing skills. Focusing on theories, processes, and skills relevant to registered nursing, it covers essential components such as quality and safety, pharmacology for nursing practice, psychomotor skills, communication, delegation and health assessment of the adult and geriatric patient. With an emphasis on patient-centered care for adult and geriatric populations, this course provides comprehensive training in common health disorders through the clinical and lab experiences. Including: Basic body system assessment, perioperative care, fluid/electrolyte and acid-based balance, pain management, sensory perception, integument and burns, respiratory, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal disorders.
