HEMS 1140 - Medical/Behavioral Emer/Trauma HEMS 1140 - Medical/Behavioral Emer/Trauma The study of general pharmacology, respiratory and cardiovascular emergencies, allergies, poisoning/overdose, environmental and behavioral emergencies. Instruction also provided in assessments and prehospital care of patients with bleeding and shock, soft tissue injuries, musculoskeletal injuries, and injuries to the head and spine and the elderly.
