EMSE 2100 - Clinical Experience II EMSE 2100 - Clinical Experience II The purpose of this course is to expose the student to a variety of patient care settings. Adhering to the National Emergency Medical Code of Ethics while providing advanced treatment under the guidance of a qualified preceptor, the student will have the opportunity to practice and reinforce terminal competency requirements within the paramedic scope of practice learned in the classroom and from lab experiences. Students will experience first-hand how advanced prehospital emergency treatment competencies translate to clinical settings such as the emergency room, intensive care units, labor and delivery, and operating rooms.
