EMSE 2020 - Airway and Ventilation EMSE 2020 - Airway and Ventilation This course is designed to provide the student with the information necessary to integrate complex knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology into patient assessment to develop and implement a treatment plan with the goal of assuring a patent airway, adequate mechanical ventilation, and respiration for patients of all ages. Students will learn how the respiratory system functions, managing adequate and inadequate respirations, and how to use methods and devices to provide artificial ventilation.
