CHEM 102 - General Chemistry II CHEM 102 - General Chemistry II Lecture course includes an introduction to organic and biochemistry chemistry for non-science majors and selected pre-allied health majors. This course presents basic principles of organic chemistry and biochemistry with emphasis on chemistry of carbon, alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, aromatics, alcohols, phenols, thiols, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, amines, amides, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, enzymes, metabolism, and molecular genetics.
