BIOL 226 - Genetics BIOL 226 - Genetics This course will build upon the integration of Mendelian and molecular principles, providing students with the links between the early understanding of genetics and the new molecular discoveries that have change the way the field of genetics is viewed. Topics covered will include basic principles, what genes are and their functions, analysis of genetic information, how genes travel on chromosomes, how genes are regulated, and how genetics are used and vary in populations.
