Addiction Treatment Counseling & Mental Health Studies - Associate in Arts
This program will prepare students for an entry-level position in the addiction treatment and recovery field. Completing the coursework for this program will prepare students for certification as a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor (CATC). The Program is accredited by the California Alcohol and Drug Education (CAADE). Students interested in state-level certification will need to pass a state examination. The program’s coursework can also assist career advancement for those already employed in occupations related to addiction counseling and treatments.
